He's been an emcee with Rhyme State Theory, Crushed Grapes, and Soul Vibe Coalition, and is now about to release his project called 1st Things First in November 2011. He's undoubtedly got talent and stage presence and can get in a cypher with the best of them. But his real relationship with music began at a Wherehouse store in 1996, when he picked up Busta Rhymes' "Woo Hah" single and discovered J-Dilla. Dilla's beats ignited a curiosity and a passion that has not only influenced the music he has created himself, but on the countless records he's produced for many artists in the LA hip hop scene.
